Welcome to the website of the Delta Tau chapter of Gamma Phi Beta! Our sisterhood strives to embody our four core values: love, labor, learning and loyalty, both in our chapter activities and in our extracurricular involvement on campus. Delta Tau has proven, over several years, to be an exceptional chapter both in our dedication to our core values and in our high achievements. This past year our chapter was awarded the prestigious McCormick Medallion for exceptional participation in campus, community, and philanthropic activities of individual members. We have an incredibly close sisterhood, especially considering our chapter size of 185 women. Our bond is strengthened through philanthropic efforts focused on Building Strong Girls in our community, sisterhood events, and our ability to join together as friends and a family to achieve our goals.
The women of Delta Tau are members of a wide variety of campus clubs, organizations and athletic teams. The diversity of interests and experiences of each individual member makes Delta Tau a well-rounded chapter that is able to maintain a strong presence on our campus. The women in our chapter participate in over 120 clubs and are currently pursuing degrees in over 27 majors. From Link Staff, to Konosioni, to dance groups, Gamma Phi women are leaders across campus. One of our proudest achievements is our scholastic excellence. For the past 10 years the women of Delta Tau have had over a 3.45 cumulative GPA. As a chapter, we pride ourselves on the amazing achievements of one another and come together to celebrate each other’s accomplishments. We aim to make a difference in the classroom, within the Colgate community, throughout the village of Hamilton, and beyond.
This year, as the President of Delta Tau, I have the honor and pleasure of representing such a dedicated organization of women.
