Welcome to the website of the Delta Tau chapter of Gamma Phi Beta! We are an organization of nearly 185 women who strive to embody our four core values of love, labor, learning, and loyalty in everything we do. The women of Gamma Phi are incredibly involved in a wide range of activities and clubs on Colgate’s campus. From varsity athletics to student government and much more, our members love to be involved in all facets of our campus community. In addition to our campus involvement, Gamma Phi Beta also prides ourselves on our members’ high level of academic achievement at Colgate. Our chapter GPA for the Fall 2017 semester was an impressive 3.52 and was the highest of all greek houses at Colgate! We are very excited to announce that International Gamma Phi Beta has selected our chapter to pilot their new academic programming because of our consistent success in the classroom.
Our chapter is very proud of our long history at Colgate University. After being the first women’s greek letter organization to come to Colgate’s campus, we later became the first National Panhellenic Conference sorority when we were installed as a chapter of Gamma Phi Beta in 1981. We look forward to continuing our legacy at Colgate and working towards leaving a positive impact on our community through our many philanthropy projects that embody our motto of ‘Building Strong Girls’. At Gamma Phi Beta we seek to build up our members and other young women in our community through the strength of our sisterhood.
I am very honored to be able to serve as president of Delta Tau and to represent such an amazing organization of women. I look forward to the year with much excitement and cannot wait to see what our sisterhood will achieve in 2018! If you would like more information about our chapter, sisterhood, or Gamma Phi Beta, please do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for visiting our website and please check out our Instagram, Tumblr and Facebook page to see what our busy Gamma Phis are up to!
