PHILANTHROPY

Building Strong Girls is proactive.

Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropic focus doesn't just address an existing challenge - we are building strong girls to proactively provide opportunities for long-term success by inspiring the leaders of tomorrow.

Building Strong Girls is local.

In every community there are ways for chapters to provide girls the support they need to bolster their ability to believe in themselves and understand their value and potential.

Building Strong Girls is unlimited.

From camping and physical fitness, to tutoring and mentoring, to supporting local organizations that empower and teach girls life-enriching skills, Building Strong Girls provides many opportunities for involvement.

Girls on the Run and Madison County Children's Camp

Gamma Phi Beta is the proud exclusive National Panhellenic Conference National Sponsor of Girls on the Run International, a nonprofit organization that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.

In terms of our organization's local philanthropic efforts, Delta Tau has supports the local chapter of Girls on the Run in Sherburne Country, NY. This past year, Gamma Phi hosted two main philanthropy events involving the entire Colgate campus. Our latest event, the spring Moonball Volleyball Tournament, was a great success, fully funding 6 scholarships and running equipment for girls at the Sherburne Girls on the Run program.
